Pictorial cloth bound numbers 175 pages plus ads illustrated and photo illustrations. The copyright is 1897 and stated Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1902. Published in Chicago by Laird & Lee. An important work dealing with investigations into the phenomena of *Spiritualism *Telepathy *Slate Writing *Rope Tying *Materializations etc. A difficult to find book in any condition and one that usually eludes Evans Collectors. Damp staining primarily to rear cover at bottom and spine and into the first ten leaves from the back cover. Front flyleaf has minimal chipping and 1/2 inch break near top foredge. Page facing title page has come away and has 1 inch break of top edge. Internals still very good condition. A scarce book. | |
