This early skull is fashioned with a projecting pin at the bottom of the bottom row of teeth on the moveable jaw. When placed upon a smooth surface a slight pressure downward on the pin will cause the jaw to open and the skull moves forward slightly and will return to its starting position when pressure is relaxed on the pin. A thread stretched between two points in front of the skull when made taut is all the strength needed to work the skull. A rare piece from Germany. Condition good. | |
