As far as this style of box goes this one does function as it is supposed to. A torn card placed within followed by closing and handing to a spectator then restores itself and all may be examined.

Some minor creasing occurs near the outer edge of the secret door which indicates someone has worked on this. The black paint on the interior has worn thin and should be re-dressed. As I stated this does work and the lock is quite secure on the lid panel. Condition used working order.
