Always a lovely effect with micro magic props that garner fascination from the spectators. With a routine devised by Ken Brooke the effect is of a spectator shuffling a pack of cards and spreading them face down upon the table. The small hand is taken by the spectator and placed on any card. The remaining cards are given to the magician and with another shuffle he then deals 5 random cards face down upon the table.

The spectator is asked to memorize his chosen card and asked to mix it with the 5 cards dealt so that not only does the magician not know which one but the spectator himself doesn't know either. Another spectator examines the pyramid and places it upon the table and the performer takes the 6 cards and deals them one at a time face down around each side of the pyramid which he has not touched from start to finish.

The spectator takes up the hand and rests it upon the point of the pyramid and spins it again with the magician touching nothing during the process. The hand spins to a halt pointing at one card only and the other cards are turned face up none of which is found to be the selected card. The one card left the one the hand is pointing to is turned face up and found to be the selected card!
