| August Roterberg. Cloth bound with gilt stamping on spine and gilt pictorial cover with 284 pages including index and numerous beautiful illustrations covering not only card tricks themselves but the Mechanical Cards and Apparatus connected with them. An ad for Stanyons School of Magic in London on front paste down inside cover. Previous owners vintage rubber stamp dated 6 June 00 (1900) along with later owners label on second fly leaf. Vintage stamp also occurs on blank reverse of photo plate showing three of the principle Card Conjurors of America said to be W.E. Robinson and J.W. Elliott and Adrian Plate. Covers bumped and rear paste down break half way down from top. Binding tight. Condition very fine. | |
