Four nickels, borrowed or your own are used and even marked if desired. One at a time the nickels are placed into the closed hand in a deliberate manner. The nickels are removed from the hand and placed on the back of the hand and a ring which the magician may have been wearing is placed alongside the stack.

The nickels are placed into the ring and turned over with the ring being placed on the magicians finger only one nickel remains on the back of the hand! This nickel is removed and the hand turned over showing that three of the nickels have penetrated the back of the hand and are now revealed in the open hand!
