A cloth bound volume of 386 pages with over 500 original illustrations from photographs explaining tricks by *J.N. Maskelyne *T. Nelson Downs *Paul Valadon *Bertram and more.

The many photographs are of a period we like to call Vintage as this book was first introduced at the turn of the century and one of the earliest to exploit the use of photography.

Some of the items explained are: *The Rising Card Trick *The Billiard Ball Trick *The Back and Front Palm *The Cap and Pence *A Section on Plate Spinning *Chapeaugraphy and Shadowgraphy *Paper Folding. Contents: *Sleights used in Card Tricks *Simple Card Tricks *Advanced Card Tricks *Sleights used in Coin Tricks *Tricks with Coins *Tricks with Balls *Handkerchief Tricks *Miscellaneous Tricks *Parlour Tricks. Please be advised there are No Buyer's Premiums. A bid placed in the last 5 minutes of an auction will extend the closing time 10 additional minutes.

3. Once auction has ended winning bidder will receive an email invoice with amount due including shipping/handling/insurance and 6.75% tax if residing in the State of Ohio. International bidders will receive an email with shipping options/charges. We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Money Order and Check. Payment is due upon auction close unless other arrangements have been made prior to bidding.

6. Please note: This is a standard auction format with no proxy bidding which means the bid you enter is what will automatically show and be taken as what you are going to pay if you win the item. The system also allows for you to increase your bid amount if this is a bidding method you wish to use. This process is also helpful in reaching a reserve amount. Shipping/Insurance charges are in addition to winning bid amounts. What you will not have at the end of the auction is the addition of Buyer's Premiums that can range from 15% to 25% and more.
