From the 1940's this wood frame is shown and a handkerchief attached. The frame is lowered into a paper sack and the magician proceeds to stab through the sack in all directions certainly cutting the handkerchief to shreds. The frame is removed from the sack and the handkerchief is completely unharmed.

As the ad read "This new frame eliminates drawback of older styles as many times the old type have failed mechanically this is better than the old sliding type and will always work. You do not put arm in bag just the tips of the fingers a feature not possible with the old style." Condition very fine.
