The magician removes a sealed envelope from his wallet and asks a spectator look it over and sign his name across the flap. After doing so the envelope is placed on the table. A pack of cards is shuffled and spread across the table by the spectator and any card is pushed away from the spread. This is a free not forced selection. The card is turned over and the spectator opens the signed envelope and inside is found a card whose back is a different color than the pack used. The card from the envelope is turned over and find it is an exact duplicate of the card freely selected!
