A large 5 1/8 inch block brilliantly lacquered in red and gold with a hole running through its center is shown and two ropes threaded through the hole and locked into a frame with the ropes through the frame draped on either side. The ropes are pulled back and forth through the block and frame and spectators may even hold the ends of the ropes. The magician takes hold of the block and pulls it away from the frame penetrating the ropes which are seen still in place in the frame! The block may be directly handed to the spectators again for examination if desired. Aside from the Jack Hughes routine is Neil Foster's method and routine for the Block Release. Both the block and frame are nicely made of wood and finished as well in lacquers. Condition very fine and beautiful. | |
