From Alex Great this operates on a single AA battery and makes use of either flash paper on its own or a combination of flash paper and flash powder. Once the chamber is loaded with flash material it is clipped into the device and will not discharge until the chamber is pushed fully home to the contact and the red spring arm pushed down to make full contact of the circuit. This carries the A&B trademark stamp and very few of these were made. Although fully operational this is sold as a magic artifact not intended for use. Condition very fine. | |
