The Kirkendall reel is trademark stamped and the tension feels good but sluggish for the last 2" of thread pull. The P&L reel is rough condition and will need to be opened and thread installed which the P&L instructions tell how to do. The P&L reel is trademarked. The Diamond reel has good tension and snap fasteners attached. This is sluggish probably due to needing fresh lubrication as it has been put away with non use for quite some time. Illustrated instructions are given for how to service the Diamond reel. | |
