| Beautiful black plex box with smooth edge bevels and spade engraving upon lid. The lid of this box is lifted as well as the little arm and hand and a deck of cards is shown and a spectator is offered a free choice of one which is removed from the deck. After the spectator has noted the selected card it is returned to the deck with a shuffle and the deck is handed to the spectator. The magician asks for the spectator to deal cards one at a time into the open box which is done. After a number of cards are dealt into the box the little arm falls against the open lid causing it to fall shut preventing any more cards from being dealt. The magician tells the spectator that the little man in the box must know something that no one else does and that the next card will be the spectators selected card. The next card is peeled away from the deck and turned face up and it is indeed the spectators selected card! This is a beautiful effect that will allow for different themes and story lines to customize the performance. This is a first rate effect and the spectators have nothing to do but scratch their heads and wonder how the arm would know when to shut the box when the selected card is still in their hands. | |
