As the instructions say "The Cat's Eye is really the Cat's Meow! It is a penetration which will fool the wisest!" The effect is of a cat's eye marble penetrating a small plastic box. In this set is included an additional piece entitled Cat's Eye Addition.

The spectators are allowed to choose one of three marbles from a box that they actually hold. Taking the box from the spectator it is held open with head turned away as they drop their marble in the box.

The magician explains he is going to tell which color marble was placed in the box without opening the box. Suddenly the marble drops through the bottom of the box and as it does the magician looks at it and names the color as a tongue in cheek response.
