With credit to John Good this is an early Collectors Workshop effect that is almost guaranteed to run shivers in the spines of spectators witnessing the effect.
A deck of cards is fanned and from this the magician removes a group of cards. A spectator is asked to select a single card from this group and returned followed by a shuffle. These cards are dealt onto the table in a circle design with the rest of the deck placed in the center of the circle followed by a pen which is balanced on top of the deck. The spectator is asked to concentrate on the chosen card and after 20 seconds the pen animates and begins to move! Slowly the pen turns round as the hand of a clock stopping at one card which is turned over and found to be the selected card!
No batteries required in this mechanical effect and the performer does not have to be in close proximity to the cards. A very well made item you can depend on to make a lasting impression. Includes 4 pages of illustrated instructions.
