Four nickels are borrowed and may be marked by the spectator. One at a time the nickels are placed in the closed hand and attention is drawn to a ring worn by the magician which a spectator is asked to remove. The nickels are removed from the hand and stacked on the back of the closed hand and the ring is taken from the spectator and placed alongside the nickels. The nickels are placed into the ring and before the eyes of the spectators the ring is turned over and shown placing it upon the finger leaving one nickel in view on the back of the hand! The hand is opened showing the other three nickels have penetrated!
