Bringing forth a handsome chest with ornamental engravings in gold that measures 6 inches wide x 4 3/4 inches deep x 3 inches high the magician unfastens the latch and removes a small black box measuring 2 1/2 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches deep x 2 3/4 inches high. Unfastening this latch he removes a 2 1/8 inch die.

The spectator is instructed to turn his back with die and box in hand and place the number of his choosing uppermost in the box followed by the closing of the lid and latch. Without going near the die in the box the magician is able to divine which number the spectator placed uppermost! This if desired may be repeated.

This amazing work of Anverdi is one he was quite proud of and oh so clever by design. This chest had a corner break on the latch side by the area where the lid comes in contact with the base. This has been fused with some type of plastic weld cement. The small chest in which the die is placed has two hairline fissures in the lid that are not readily obvious that you must look for.

The spectator may be within 8 feet away with the die and box from the ornate chest for the performance. It is an amazing thing the way Anverdi worked his electronic magic to accomplish this feat. The magician may be several feet away from the ornate chest and still receive the "Thought waves". I have personally tested the working of this chest and die and it is a fine working piece and includes instructions.
